Everything Seared Tuna Steak
While Tuna Steaks aren't exactly an inexpensive choice, they make a fabulous quick, satiating, and healthy protein option and pair perfectly with a simple salad. In this photo you can see that I paired this Everything Seared Tuna Steak with a simple arugula salad dressed with olive oil and vinegar, a little salt and pepper, and a bit of diced tomato and red onion.
The Perfect Summer Evening Meal!
Everything Seared Tuna Steaks
Ingredients:
- Tuna Steaks (how many ever you need)
- Everything Seasoning Mix
Instructions:
- Heat non-stick skillet to medium-high heat.
- Pat tuna steaks dry on both sides but leave the edges a little damp/
- Pour a few table spoons of everything seasoning mix on a small plate (Gauge how much you'll need for the number of steaks you have but don't over do it. You can always add more if needed.
- Roll each tuna steak on it's side through the everything seasoning mix, pressing lightly as you do so that the seasoning will stick.
- Make sure your pan is hot and then place each steak in the pan. Cook on each side for around 3-4 minutes for a medium rare tuna steak. Don't cook them too long or they will be dry.
- Serve while still hot & enjoy.
